Hello, This blue screen appears to be related to the Family Safety Filter option included in Windows. It is possible that the update had disabled AVAST or influenced this option. What we recommend: 1 Restart your computer in safe mode of Windows (by pressing F8 during boot) 2 After you booted on safe mode: -Press Win + R on your keyboard, type services.msc, press Enter - \ "Windows Live Family Safety Service \" in the search list of services, double-click, set to disabled -Connect The window, you should be able to reboot normally now -After You restart, follow the instructions from the MS to safely family service completely remove: http://windows.microsoft.com/nl-nl/windows-live/family-safety-remove-uninstall-faq 3 You can also try to install AVAST and again to update it. I would recommend Avast contact with the problem, and while you're waiting to hear back from them, I would try a different type AntiVirus. I would recommend Norton Internet Security or Avira.
