Qualis Research Associates Ethnograph

Ethnograph is a CAQDAS (Computer Assisted Qualitative Data Analysis Software) developed by Qualis Research Associates. Coordinating with the researcher’s group is more convenient for combining the data can be done thru Ethnograph. Users can utilize Ethnograph’s tools such as memo options whereby researchers can tag in every line of text, projects or data files that other users can read. It has a copy and paste function, copying any word file can be directly paste in the software. The Ethnograph version 5 works for win2000, winXP and WME. Qualis Research Associates have released a new version that is version 6 that has advance functions compared to the older version that can work for newer version of windows operating systems. The following are the features of Ethnograph v.6: code data files, code records, advance searching options, search filtering, and memo creation. Personalizing data files helps users to easily find and identify the projects to avoid confusion. Version 5 files can also be open in version 6. Certain procedures must be followed to accomplish opening old files from the previous edition.
